The mission of the WASH Cluster is to provide water, sanitation and hygiene promotion assistance to affected populations during emergencies through improved coordination. We promote WASH interventions that improve dignity and protection for affected populations and that empower women, men, girls and boys to secure their rights to WASH services. We support field operations with tools, guidance and capacity building to coordinate and manage the WASH response effectively. The WASH Cluster in South Sudan is led by UNICEF and co-led by NRC.
