The South Sudan Inter-Agency Cash Working Group (IA - CWG) is committed to enhancing the strategic, technical and operational coordination and collaboration of cash and voucher assistance in South Sudan. The CWG is an inclusive platform for partners responding to the crisis in South Sudan and aims to promote the utilization of cash and vouchers as a modality for humanitarian assistance that strengthens theme three of the nine workstreams of the Grand Bargain.
The CWG is guided by the IA -CWG strategy paper (2021-2022) and by a TOR. The CWG works through sub-national working groups and through thematic work-streams. CWG meetings are held on a monthly basis and adhoc as needed.

The Joint Market Monitoring Initiative (JMMI) was initiated by the South Sudan Cash Working Group (CWG) in an effort to inform cash-based interventions and better understand market dynamics in South Sudan. The initiative is guided by the JMMI Technical Working Group, led by REACH and supported by the CWG members.
