The public health situation is characterized by the prevalence of the epidemic-prone and vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks despite the efforts of the government of the partners and the shrinking of the financial resources required to provide appropriate responses. About 3.1 million (74.4%) of the targeted population has been reached by 48 health sector members; these include 2,027,801 (94%) in Borno, 474,094 (43%) in Adamawa, and 665,735 (66%) in Yobe. The majority of people reached—roughly 27% of the total—were seen at the mobile clinic while the rest were reported at the static health facilities located in the community or in the camps housing internally displaced people. The majority of those reached in Borno are IPD, whereas most people reached in Yobe, and Adamawa are members of the host community. The majority of the population in each of the three states is female. Additionally, the percentage of the total population in each state that is under five is roughly 20% in Borno, 21% in Adamawa, and 17% in Yobe.
