MENA Accountability to Affected People (AAP) Platform
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Inter-agency AAP Working Group has been established to collectively advocate for greater accountability for inclusive and people-centered approaches across the Triple Nexus, amplifying the voices of vulnerable groups including children, the elderly, people living with disability, stateless people, communities affected by conflict, crises, poverty, or otherwise being forced to flee due to persecution, violence and discrimination in the MENA region in line with the IASC AAP Commitments 2017, IASC Collective AAP Framework, Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and the Sustainable Development Goals 2015-2030. The platform will also reinforce the commitments laid out in the Statement by Principals of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) on Accountability to Affected People in Humanitarian Action (2022).
