WASH-related Assessments
WASH Vulnerability Assessment Platform
The WASH sector has developed a platform for targeting, prioritizing and monitoring its WaSH (water, sanitation and hygiene) response by evaluating the WaSH vulnerability of each Informal Settlement using a standardized approach. It enables partners to prioritize certain activities that would have the biggest impact on reducing a site’s vulnerability score, whilst also enabling partners to target the most vulnerable sites first with limited available funds.
MSNA
To support an evidence-based humanitarian response, the United Nations (UN) Officer for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) , with support from REACH Initiative (REACH) and the Emergency Operation Cell (EOC), conducted a country-wide Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA), which was funded by the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations unit (DGECHO) and the Lebanese Humanitarian Fund (LHF).
