About the CDPG-DM

The Caribbean Development Partners Group for Disaster Management (CDPG-DM) is a sub-regional coordination platform for preparedness and response to disasters.

The CDPG-DM was established to provide a forum for information sharing among Development Partners and to collaborate on strategic decisions regarding program development and coordination. 

The CDPG-DM was formulated to facilitate the coordination of external emergency assistance to the countries of the sub-region following a significant natural or technological hazard. This platform is co-chaired by the United Nations Resident Coordinator (UN RC) of the impacted area and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) Executive Director and consists of Development Partners serving Barbados and the wider Caribbean.
