Anticipatory Action Community of Practice
Welcome to the Community of Practice on Anticipatory Action in Latin America and the Caribbean, a space to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange. In a context where disasters and crises disproportionately affect the most vulnerable communities, anticipatory action becomes an essential tool to save lives, protect livelihoods, and reduce human suffering before emergencies occur. This community aims to bring together humanitarian actors, local and international organizations, governments, and risk management experts to share resources, information and knowledge products that can strengthen anticipatory capacities and contribute to better coordination in the region. Together we can build a more proactive and effective anticipatory approach, prioritizing the protection and dignity of people at risk.
