November 26, 2025. The second Rehabilitation Forum was held in Kyiv. 
National and international experts, partners, and representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, the Ministry of War Veterans Affairs, and the National Health Service of Ukraine participated in the event

Key topics discussed:

• Progress and next steps in achieving rehabilitation development priorities
• Financing rehabilitation: strengthening the medical guarantees program
• Progress in integrating functional assessment tools and next steps in their practical application in Ukraine
• Strengthening the role of mental health and psychosocial support in the physical rehabilitation of war trauma survivors
• Bringing higher education institutions into line with international professional competencies and national education standards
• Success stories of flagship projects such as “Development of Outpatient Rehabilitation and Community Rehabilitation,” “Development of Pediatric Rehabilitation,” etc.

November 28, 2025. A peer-to-peer support conference was held in Kyiv.

During the conference, we heard presentations from a diverse group of national and international experts representing people with vision loss, limb loss, multiple traumatic injuries, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, the neurodiverse community, people with spinal cord injuries, and women and girls with disabilities.

Three panel discussions on different topics were organized:

• Conceptual definition of the term “peer-to-peer” and peer-to-peer models in different areas
• Presentation of existing practices for implementing peer-to-peer support
• Challenges and international experience in peer-to-peer support

The conference brought together various stakeholders, including the Office of the President of Ukraine and representatives of the health, social protection, and disability sectors. The event aimed to agree on the main models for providing peer-to-peer support, showcase existing successful practices in Ukraine, and explore opportunities for further development of such interventions in the field of health and social support.

28 листопада 2025 року. у місті Києві пройшла Конференція підтримки "рівний-рівному"

Під час конференції ми почули виступи різноманітної групи національних та міжнародних експертів, які представляють людей із втратою зору, втратою кінцівок, множинними травматичними ушкодженнями, церебральним паралічем, порушеннями інтелектуального розвитку, нейродиверсифіковану спільноту, людей із травмами спинного мозку, а також жінок і дівчат з інвалідністю.
