Data Coordination Group (DCG)
Overview
Ukraine Data Coordination Group (DCG) is a multi-sector, multi-stakeholder group established to enhance the evidence-base of the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and support the data priorities of the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT). It was formed from the merger of the Assessment and Analysis Working Group (AAWG) and the Information Management Working Group (IMWG) to simplify the coordination structure and strengthen collaboration. In line with the IASC and Grand Bargain commitments, the goal of the DCG is to coordinate and streamline data collection, share needs assessments, data and findings in a timely manner, and harmonize and simplify analyses and reporting requirements. With an array of partners carrying out assessments and data collection activities, conducting analyses, and delivering information products, the DCG is to provide a platform to facilitate collaboration and coordination of data and information management activities under the auspices of the Inter-Cluster Coordination Group (ICCG) and the Humanitarian Operational Coordination Groups (HOCGs).
