North Eastern Region
Highlights
Humanitarian activities in the North-Eastern Region focus on natural disaster response (avalanches, landslides and floods), conflict-induced displacement and support to disaster risk reduction. The region has contingency plans for floods, winter and conflict displacement. Humanitarian assistance is coordinated by Provincial Disaster Management Committees (PDMC), Operational Coordination Teams (OCT) and Clusters.
